For personal use, these meditations can be read to oneself with a background of soft music and be quite beneficial. However, I believe that a greater benefit can be achieved if they are first recorded on tape if possible, and then listened to, again with a background of suitable music.

This is a selection of Guided Meditations that I have either written or adapted for both personal use and in groups. Although I have used all of them many times in my capacity as a lay speaker or chairperson in numerous venues, I have purposely kept them as "non-denominational" as possible in nature, thus hopefully rendering them universal in appeal.
The Relaxation part is quite interchangeable between the various meditations I have included here. If you find a particularly appealing Relaxation intro, then simply print it out with parts two and three of another meditation for your own personal meditation. Similarly, you could replace the normal length Relaxation intro with the Deep Relaxation. Experiment and enjoy!
